POLICIES / UPDATED 7 OCTOBER 2026
Privacy, in plain language.
Numberleaf is an independent website owned by Rob and hosted on Netlify. Here is how this release works.
Your worksheet stays in your browser
Questions and answers are generated on your device. The site has no account, upload or learner database. Our optional contact form is for adults contacting the owner, not for submitting learner work. Do not put names or other personal details in the seed. Name and date lines on printed sheets are blank for you to fill in on paper.
Links and downloads
A reproduction link stores the skill settings and seed after the # character in the URL. That fragment is not sent in the normal HTTP request to our host. It is visible to anyone you share the full link with and can remain in your browser history. It contains no learner answers entered by you; the generator does not accept learner responses.
JSON downloads, direct PDFs and browser-saved PDFs go to the location you choose on your device. They include the generated material; JSON includes the answer key. Numberleaf does not receive a copy of those files. Your browser, operating system, printer or cloud-print service may handle the files under their own settings.
Analytics choices
Google Analytics is available only with your explicit permission. The site loads no Google tags until a real measurement ID has been supplied and you explicitly accept analytics. Reject analytics keeps Google tags off. You can change your mind using Analytics settings in the footer; rejection after acceptance disables analytics and reloads the page. Analytics stays off on the contact page.
If you choose a preference, we store only your choice and its date in local storage for up to 180 days. No preference is stored just for visiting. When enabled with permission, measurement is limited to page paths and broad worksheet actions, skill, question count and paper size. We exclude URL queries, fragments, worksheet seeds, answers and contact content. No advertising or personalised advertising is enabled. See Google’s privacy policy.
Contact messages
The optional form requests an email address, a topic and a message; your name is optional. We use this information only to respond to the request or investigate an error, not for marketing. Do not send learner or sensitive details. Netlify processes requests and IP addresses for hosting and abuse prevention; Resend processes the email and delivers it to the owner’s private inbox. No contact fields are sent to analytics.
Messages are retained while needed to resolve the request and ordinarily deleted within 90 days after closure, unless a longer period is necessary for a legal obligation or an unresolved issue. Email providers may retain delivery and security records under their own policies. See Resend’s privacy policy and Netlify’s policy below. Use the Privacy topic to request access, correction or deletion of your contact information. Sending may be unavailable until the email service is configured; the form shows its actual status and cannot promise delivery.
Hosting requests
Opening a page sends a request to Netlify. Infrastructure may process information such as IP address, requested path, browser information and request time to deliver and protect the service. This is distinct from worksheet generation, which happens locally. We do not claim that a visit creates no server data.
See Netlify’s privacy statement for its practices. We have not set a separate application-log retention period or built visitor profiles. External help links contact their own sites only when you follow them.
Children and future changes
The tool is intended for adults preparing practice, but learners, including children, may visit. The worksheet tool does not request ages, contact details or student responses. The separate contact form is intended for adults; do not submit children’s personal information. Audience and data practices will need review before any advertising, tracking or new collection is introduced. We will update this notice when the actual service changes.
Questions about privacy
Use the Privacy topic on the contact form when sending is available. Do not send personal information through worksheet seeds or share links. If contact delivery is unavailable, this page and the form will show that limitation. For questions about Netlify’s own processing, use the contact details in its privacy statement.
